Late Kiran Singh ji
Doctoral ethologist, zoological analyst, and institutional architect of modern predator care. Her pioneering research into the psychology and conditioning of apex felids at Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP Vandalur) established the scientific principles of discipline and humane stewardship that anchor our foundation today.

Late Kiran Singh ji
Ph.D. Ethologist • AAZP Vandalur Analyst • Foundational Pillar
A Legacy of Dignity, Science, and Compassionate Protection
Established in sacred memory of Late Kiran Singh ji. Earning her Ph.D. specializing in the behavioral science, training, and conditioning of apex felids (lions, tigers, and leopards), her analytical tenure at the Tamil Nadu Zoo Authority at Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP Vandalur, Chennai) transformed zoological care into humane behavioral science.
Working in close advisory alignment with the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Late J. Jayalalithaa ("Amma"), her scientific rigor and protective discipline now animate our two operational wings: providing 40 sponsored scholars with executive leadership coaching and sheltering 34 rescued street dogs at our sanctuary facility in Prayagraj.
Behavioral Conditioning & Ethology of Apex Felids (Ph.D. Dissertation)
The foundational research of Late Kiran Singh ji formulated unprecedented humane conditioning and operant stimulus paradigms for large carnivores in zoological preserves. Focusing on lion prides and solitary leopards, her doctoral research proved that apex predators retain psychological equilibrium in managed habitats through environmental enrichment, predictable acoustic conditioning, and positive reinforcement rather than punitive restraints.
Formed the theoretical groundwork that would later be adopted by state wildlife reserves and zoological authorities across South India.
Analyst & Behavioral Specialist at Tamil Nadu Zoo Authority (AAZP Vandalur)
Appointed as an Analyst in the Tamil Nadu Zoo Authority at Arignar Anna Zoological Park (Vandalur, Chennai)—one of the largest modern zoological parks in Asia. Late Kiran Singh ji supervised predator enclosures, pioneered safari enrichment corridors, and established safety-conscious veterinary handling procedures for the park's lion safari and tiger preserves. Her analytical diagnostics reduced territorial pacing distress by over 60% across resident felids.
Worked in close consultation with state forestry conservators to position AAZP Vandalur as an international benchmark for humane zoological keeping.
Advisory Alignment with Late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa ('Amma')
Late Kiran Singh ji worked in close alignment with the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Late J. Jayalalithaa ('Amma'), advising the state administration on wildlife conservation standards, modernized veterinary infrastructure at AAZP Vandalur, and humane urban community animal welfare models. Late J. Jayalalithaa ji commended her disciplined methodology, her scientific contributions to felid ethology, and her commitment to public welfare, inspiring the core philosophy: 'Working Towards Change'.
Directly shaped progressive state initiatives for zoo veterinary modernization, wild cat rescue rehabilitation units, and compassionate community animal governance.
Zoological Authority & Ministerial Alignment
AAZP Vandalur • Office of the Chief Minister
"Late J. Jayalalithaa ji commended her disciplined methodology, her pioneering scientific contributions to large felid psychology at AAZP Vandalur, and her commitment to public welfare, inspiring the core philosophy: ‘Working Towards Change’."
Pioneered safari corridor enrichment and operant conditioning that reduced resident predator pacing distress by over 60%.
Shaped humane urban stray animal policies, modern zoo enclosures, and the veterinary modernization roadmap.
The same scientific discipline directly empowers our dual operational wings today without institutional drift.
